This set had a few challenges. We had a week to design and build everything, but the furniture style I put into the design was unavailable for 6 weeks. The client wanted a black leather couch that would recline, but we only had a few hundred dollars and could only find brown or white ones. To make matters worse there were no matching neck pillows that we could find that had the look we wanted. We ended up purchasing a brown couch, then painting it with several cans of black vinyl spray paint. Then we fabricated a pillow out of sonotube, black vinyl, and some thin foam. A few extra details and it was done. Plus, we saved a few dollars on the budget!
