San Diego’s first choice in Creative Services for the Entertainment Industries.
The studio asked us to design “The Green Room” (a space where talent waits before it’s time to perform). And since this is a music venue, and the client is a guitarist, we came up with this idea, and are pretty sure it hasn’t been done like this anywhere else.
We figured that if Pete Townshend can display his broken guitars, why not our client? Each guitar was purchased new and custom “smashed”, which was really difficult to do! We ended up using chisels and sledge hammers, and eventually had some really cool looking “authentic” smashed guitars. We even replicated the iconic Clash guitar as depicted in the large poster. The original is currently on display in
the U.K., so we replicated it here, complete with it’s own display table.
Relaxing before a show in this green room is definitely an interesting experience!
